Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Razemo handles information when you use the application.
1. Information used by the app
Razemo may ask you to provide a display name or nickname so that other participants can identify you during a game session.
Your display name or nickname is stored locally on your device and may be shared with other devices participating in the same Razemo game room.
The Android version of Razemo uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect pseudonymous usage and technical information about how the application is used. The current iOS version does not include Firebase Analytics.
2. Local storage
Information such as your local player profile, nickname, avatar, and application settings may be stored on your device. This information is used to provide the app's functionality.
Locally stored profile and game information is not uploaded to Razemo-operated servers because Razemo does not currently operate a user-account or game-data backend.
3. Game rooms and participants
Razemo uses nearby device connections to allow players to participate in the same local multiplayer game.
When you create or join a game room, information required for the game session may be exchanged between participating devices. This may include participant names, avatars, game state, questions, reactions, scores, and other information required to synchronize the game.
This game-session information is used to provide the multiplayer experience between participating devices.
4. Questions and game content
Razemo includes predefined game questions, challenges, and categories. This content is provided as part of the application.
Razemo does not currently allow users to upload custom questions or game content to a Razemo-operated server.
5. Analytics and third-party services
The Android version of Razemo uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the application is used and to improve its functionality, reliability, and user experience. The current iOS version does not use an analytics or advertising SDK.
Firebase Analytics may collect technical and usage information, including app interactions, diagnostic information, device and app information, and a pseudonymous identifier associated with the application installation. Razemo does not collect the Android Advertising ID.
On Android, Razemo uses this information for analytics purposes, such as measuring how users interact with the application and understanding events such as which screens of the application are opened, room creation and joining, game starts together with the question categories being played, and game completion.
Razemo does not intentionally send player nicknames, room names, room access codes, spoken answers, game answers, or other game-session content to Firebase Analytics.
Analytics data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's and Firebase's applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
6. Advertising and tracking
Razemo does not currently display advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs to show ads.
On Android, the Firebase Analytics SDK may process a pseudonymous application-instance identifier for analytics purposes. Razemo disables Advertising ID collection and removes the Advertising ID permission from the Android application, so the Advertising ID is not available to the app.
Razemo does not use Firebase Analytics for personalized advertising.
Razemo does not sell personal information.
7. Children's privacy
Razemo is not designed to intentionally collect sensitive personal information from children.
Users should avoid entering personal or sensitive information as their display name or sharing sensitive information during gameplay.
Razemo does not intentionally request contact information, precise location, photos, voice recordings, or other sensitive personal information as part of normal gameplay.
8. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored profile data can be deleted using the "Delete profile" button in the profile editor. Application data can also be removed by clearing Razemo's application data where the platform supports it or by uninstalling Razemo.
Game-session information exchanged between nearby devices may be discarded when a multiplayer session ends or when the application is closed, depending on the type of information involved.
On Android, analytics collection can be turned off at any time using the "Anonymous analytics" switch in the profile editor, and the pseudonymous identifier assigned to your installation can be deleted using the "Delete my analytics data" button in the same screen. Once that identifier is deleted, previously reported usage events are no longer linked to your installation.
Analytics data collected through Google Analytics for Firebase is otherwise retained and managed according to Google's and Firebase's applicable data retention and deletion practices. Step-by-step instructions are available on the Data Deletion page.
9. Security
Razemo uses Android and iOS platform services and nearby device communication technologies to operate multiplayer game sessions.
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information processed by the application and information transmitted between participating devices.
10. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Razemo's features, analytics configuration, or data practices change. The current version will be published on this page.
11. Contact
For privacy-related questions, contact the Razemo developer using the contact information provided on the application's Google Play or App Store listing.
