Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Decisions handles information when you use the application.
1. Information used by the app
Decisions gives a random YES or NO answer, or picks one of your own options at random, when you tap the decision button. The app does not ask for your name, email address, account, or any other personal information.
The app keeps only the following information:
- your decision history: the sequence of YES and NO answers you have received, used to show the YES/NO percentages and the decision history chart, together with the question you typed for each answer, if any;
- the list of options you type in the "Options" mode, so that you do not have to enter them again;
- your settings: which mode (YES / NO or Options) you used last, the number of rounds, and whether classic answers, sounds, and vibration are turned on.
Typing a question is optional. Please avoid typing personal or sensitive information as a question or an option.
2. Local storage
The decision history, your options, and the selected mode are stored locally on your device. Decisions does not operate servers, does not have user accounts, and does not upload this or any other information to the developer.
Depending on your device settings, locally stored app data may be included in the backups made by your operating system, such as Android backup or iCloud and device backups on iOS. These backups are managed by Google or Apple according to their own terms and your settings, not by Decisions.
3. Network access
Decisions works entirely offline. The app does not request internet access permission on Android and does not connect to the internet or to other devices to provide its features.
Sharing an answer
When you tap the share button, Decisions creates a picture of the current answer on your device. The picture shows your question (if you typed one), the answer, and the rounds, if any. It is passed only to the app you choose in your device's share menu, such as a messenger. What happens to it after that is governed by that app. Decisions does not share anything unless you tap the share button.
4. Analytics and third-party services
Decisions does not include analytics, crash reporting, or other third-party SDKs that collect usage information.
5. Advertising and tracking
Decisions does not display advertisements, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Decisions does not sell or share personal information.
6. Permissions
Decisions does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or files. The app uses the device's standard haptic feedback (vibration) when you make or clear a decision, and the motion sensor (accelerometer) to notice when you shake the phone to make a decision. Neither requires a special permission. Motion data is only checked on the device while the app is open, and it is not stored or sent anywhere.
7. Children's privacy
Decisions does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Data retention and deletion
The decision history, including the questions saved with it, stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete it at any time by tapping the "Clear" button in the YES / NO mode. For a few seconds after clearing, an "Undo" option lets you restore the history; after that, the history is permanently removed from the app.
Your options stay on your device until you remove them with the "×" button next to each option in the Options mode.
All app data, including the decision history and your options, is also removed when you clear the Decisions app's application data where the platform supports it or when you uninstall the app. Copies included in operating-system backups are managed through your Google or Apple backup settings.
9. Security
Because the decision history and your options never leave your device through the app, it is protected by your device's own security features, such as the screen lock and the operating system's app data isolation.
10. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the Decisions app's features or data practices change. The current version will be published on this page.
11. Contact
For privacy-related questions, contact the Decisions developer at car.tools.apps@gmail.com or using the contact information provided on the application's Google Play or App Store listing.
